Finally lashed out and traded in my old *ist DL and kit lens and bought myself some new gear. Been happy with Pentax, so went with a K20D body, a couple of new Sigma lenses (17-70 F2.8-4 OS HSM and 70-300 APO), new flash and monopod. I'm like a kid at Christmas! Here's a couple of trial shots with the 17-70, with very litte PP. Seems like fairly nice glass, considering it's reasonable price tag.
For anyone who's interested, there are some real bargains on the K20D at present (at least here in Oz). I suspect it may be discontined once the new K-5 hits the streets. However it's still a nice body and I paid less than half the anticipated price of the K-5.
