In any event, one of the sections in the new Obamacare specifies that hospitals must test for this gene before couples are allowed to marry. The cure is right there in the article. The "liberal gene" seems to be triggered by having a wide circle of friends growing up. The cure is to ensure that the child has few friends and thinks primarily of themselves as a child. Presumably this self centered and friendless child will grow up to be a conservative.

If you have your references set to view Forum threads in reverse order (most recent posting at the top of the first page) the numbering system doesn't work -- the most recent post is considered "#1" -- a bug which makes it pretty useless, and which I would love to have fixed as well.
You can temporarily reverse the order of posts in a thread to get the right number, but then I'd make a note of this requirement when posting the reference.
Personally, I usually just quote any post I'm responding to, editing out irrelevant/repetitive parts ...
