8.8% is the remittance rate on (gross+HST). Line 101.
1 percent reduction on first $30,000 (so 7.8%). Line 107.
I file annually, but make quarterly installments to lessen the shock, and as I pay directly through my bank online, I don't have the benefit of the forms to fill out. The silly government thinks I'm trying to file quarterly, so I get get a letter every time I make an installment. Maroons.

Be thankful you pay quarterly... if you didn't they would come after you for interest on the periods your were delinquent... and for what it's worth, you can do all that wonderful calculation on line.
