I've done that a couple of times, when I thought the image was completely DNMC and could see no connection at all to the challenge, but it was a great shot that I loved.

I'm slowly learning the proper scoring system on DP - it seems to be a possible score range of (-26 to 10) Where any score under a 1 receives a 1.
up to -9 for meeting challenge - or not
up to -9 for image quality
up to -9 for subject
up to -9 for title and framing
so using the proper DP system I got:
