Thankyou very much for your comments on my newspaper entry 'Living with pain' they really do help :D and was very pleased with my result, though felt that my ps skills (or lack thereof) let the image down.
Though I can see all the little colour boxes on my monitor when I looked at my entry on the work computer and it was a lot darker, lacked highlights, just looked different. To get b/w I only desaturated and didn't work with levels or curves......this wasn't enough to do the photo justice. Have had another attempt using a layer, desaturating and working on the levels.....would appreciate comments if this is better, what else I could do......sue
