I have played around with it and changed many functions.
However, I have no idea what the normal setting is, and I have things flashing that probably shouldn't be flashing.
Is there anyway to reset it back to normal, factory settings?
I can't seem to find it anywhere. I took the batteries out for a couple of hours, but it has a memory. Which I know I'll appreciate someday, just not today. :)
I cannot try it right now, but apparently you can reset it by keeping the flash powered on, and just opening the battery door, then closing it back up after a few seconds.
That one says that I have to reset all of the camera's custom functions as well to reset the flash. I don't want to redo all of my camera functions -- just the flash. (It also says take out the batteries, but that doesn't work.)

I'll have to look that up -- I thought I came across something like that, but people weren't sure if it damaged the flash in anyway.
I found it:
"The key is that the flash must be turned on when you open the lid. This is much faster than trying to do it in the menu if you need to turn the master mode off in a hurry.
I don't know if it will damage the flash, but it does work."
It's the last line that worries me... It seems like with so many settings, there should be a way to just reset it all.
Well, I tried it anyway, but it only resets the master/slave bit -- not the other functions. I still have a blinking, turned off flash icon.
