I did not read the site news and I did not notice the little paragraph on the main page.

Well, I am waiting to submit to 2 challenges as well. I am sure they can fix it. It's nothing serious anyway. Running out of space on a site like this is expected. Threre's no way you can tell how many people will submit their images and I am sure they will have to draw a line somewhere.
Disk space is so cheap, I doubt this will be much of a problem. If their bandwidth gets maxed out, however, well that's when things on this site might have to change. It's unfortunate how sites like this eventually get too popular to remain free to the general public. Still, the paying member system is already in place, and it wouldn't be too much of a shock to me to see member fees increased (not that I want that to happen).
I know that maintaining a site like this would be tough and if something barfed once in a while I would not complain. I am sure that the people behind this can solve it and they would work hard to fix it.
Ooops, I didn't see this thread when I just posted a similar one about deadline extensions and this storage problem. I guess I can keep trying to upload/change my entry and see what happens. Just ignore my other thread. :)
