I had fun making these, and acknowledge that they don't necessarily meet the criteria of leading the eye through the image. I shot an oscillating string in a dark room lit with a color wheel of sorts, but occasionally would change the settings on my camera and forget to turn off the flash. Here is the string frozen in time.
