My USGS alert was amended to 7.2. (ETA, the local paper here says 7.4). That's a real ballbuster of a quake. I'm sure they had quite a ride, and I hope they're all OK.
It's no third world city, and so hopefully, with good building codes, no deaths. The last quake this big had just a few deaths. With some luck there will be none for this one.
