I know that Topaz Adjust has been given the okay for basic editing (even though the rules still don't spell that out) but I haven't seen anything about the other Topaz processes. So, can I, or can't I?
I use detail in basic regularly. It does not have any selective adjustments. All adjustments get applied across the entire image. I am sure it's legal. I don't own Topaz Clean, however, so not sure about that one.
Thanks. If detail is okay, clean would be too. It also gets applied to the whole image and there are fewer styles to choose from. It all puzzles me a bit, because some pretty radical effects can be achieved with adjust, detail or, to a lesser degree, clean.

Indeed. Don't forget the caveat in the rules- "These filters must be applied uniformly to the entire image, and must not be used in such a way that their use becomes a feature."
There haven't been any DQ's I know of so far, only speculation on what constitutes features, and I'd guess it would get down to a vote.

I don't think I'll stick my neck out by overdoing anything. Actually the image I intend to enter is very mildly affected, I just wanted to make sure it would be legal.
