I figured that someone would start a thread about this when I saw it earlier. It seems a warning to us to keep our equipment bags in sight when we are out in public. He was super lucky to get all that back. The local police evidently knew the guy from the way they handled the event, and the amount of time it took to find him.

I just don't get people who are looking for an excuse. Wrong can not be made right, no matter what lawyer said. She got more attention than she likes, well maybe next time she will look for the cameras, or learn to control her craziness.

A sentient creature, no matter the genus, does not deserve to be inflicted with intentional suffering. Anyone that thinks that it's "just an animal", and so causing it suffering is okay, is either less evolved or psychotic. So too with anyone wishing to carry out vengeance justice on this particular woman. That kind of thinking leads directly to this.
