I've had a Hoya 72 filter laying around for months now and figured today I would learn how to use it. I know I'll not reach the level of  Judi anytime soon, but I thought these were ok for the half hour I spent out at the lake today. It was windy so everything is blurrier than I would have liked. And I found that if I go over f/5.6 then I have a hot spot show up in the middle of my 18-55mm kit lens. I have a lot to learn still to refine this technique, and any tips or pointers any of you may have will be appreciated. Thanks
