This is meant in fun, but I just had to laugh at an article talking about Ahmadinejad's debating style. I thought of a few of my DPC Rant colleagues...
His preferred method of debate is to masterfully spin out rhetorical questions, combative statements, ad hominem arguments, and sarcastic remarks in order to muddle the discussion to an extent that the original topic of conversation becomes indistinct to both his rivals and audience.
I'm checking to see if a few Rant regulars happen to have Iran listed as their location...
Wow, really? Colleagues? As in, more than one? I can think of only a single individual who's been repeatedly called out for ad hominem attacks, dodging the question, emotionally charged generalizations and ignorance. He gets flustered when the same tactics are returned or when forced to actually address a issue, and has even called for official debates. The similarities are downright eerie. His name escapes me at the moment- I'll try to to find it on Wiki...
