the light was pretty tough, not sure what else I could have done ... maybe swapping the couple so the guy was in the slightly more direct would have been a good idea (or a couple of flash guns!)

Personal opinion/rant:
Sometimes we are way too fussy about getting the perfect light.
That scene was in bright sunshine and it looks very natural and real just the way it is.
WE see deep shadows and some blown out details on the dress, but any non-photographer would see a nice photo of a romantic scene. I bet the bride and groom would be quite happy with it.

Not surprisingly, I disagree. It needs a little sumpin sumpin for the sake of drama.
