I'm sorta sorry this came at the expense of Dennis's DQ'd shot, which was certainly a lot more spherical, but hey, I'll take it! This is by far the best I've done with one of my long and ill-fated series of ordinary objects.
So thanks to y'all, and yes, I noticed the "alien" resemblance, and almost titled it to reference that :-)
I *AM* enjoying the tropics; we're in a Villa on St. John with wifi access. Tomorrow morning we take the ferry to Tortola, hook up with Yak and shorty, hop on the boat, and no more internet for who knows how long :-) Meanwhile, it's storming like crazy here, and we just finished dinner.
