Wow. I always take spare clothes and gear with me on weddings but that's one spectacular way to actually need them. Then again, there are no fountains inside churches where I live.
On the bright side it looks like his primary still might be working it at least had it's light on. Little orange light when the other guy grabs the camera from him. One can hope. I cry at the 70-200 being submerged for that long....
Lesson to be learned: Always know your surroundings! I was once put in the bucket, of a front end loader. Hoisted up high, to get a group wedding shot. Someone yelled to watch for the hydo lines. Looking up, I could have grabbed the line. Which I didn't... lol Freaky though...

My XTi and my 17-40 F4L and I spent a good 90 seconds in a glacier fed river and it all still works great to this day...

I couldn't help but wonder if the videographer saw what was happening and "let" it happen because the photog was obviously obstructing any video the guy wanted to get.
