Why do they have to be in a still position?
That's always been the classic definition of portrait, imo. However, If it's a good shot that's really about the person, it doesn't particular matter to me if they're moving, but I'm not rigid in my voting. In previous challenges, there have been people that thought that full length can't even be considered a portrait.

You mean like Olan Mills????? I'm looking for something more creative that brings out the essence of the person and their personality. I would prefer a head and shoulders shot but if it's dynamic I wouldn't be so rigid.
