One of the great catalysts of creativity is the spark that occurs between artists. DPC has no outlet for this tremendously significant mode of expression... until now.
Let's use this side challenge to set aside the reductionist fiction of the Individual Artist, and work together to create beauty. Find a team, whether it's family or friends or an online conspiracy, and create beautiful things together. No restrictions as to content, as long as the creations are yours (in other words, do NOT violate the TOS of the site!). Please also use photographer's comments to describe how you put it together.

I'm thinking this collaboration idea might be fun. But I'm not sure I understand how you're envisioning it would work - can you elaborate?
Whatever you think is fun, do that!! People who live together can just work on each other's images. Other people will have to email images back and forth. You can layer different images, you can edit each other's images, whatever.
It took a little arm twisting but you can count pointy and the pointy sisters in. Both Steve and Marj are pretty busy but we will be working on something. So Don and Skew, are there any rules? Can we use photos from any date? multiple photos? anything we want? Should be a lot of fun.

There is one collaborative idea that I've been wanting to try. It's called a film swap. The gist of it is this: One person shoots a roll of film then sends it to a partner who shoots over the same roll of film. What you get, of course, are double exposures. Frames might overlap (or not), but that's part of the fun. It's all about serendipity and surprise.
There are some technical and logistical things to be aware of -- not rewinding the film fully, underexposing by one stop, etc. -- but nothing too hard to manage.
Geesh, I just now saw this. I'd hook up with Clive in an instant, he's my hero; or one of them anyway. But I guess I'm too late for CPN. Lemme think who else might be fun to be different FROM and working WITH...

(Hell, why limit this to one roll, let's do five, and just post the good ones.)
ETA:
If you can develop B&W we'll use both if you want to do multiple rolls.. (Well, I guess I could, but I don't have the time for the class, and fees aren't cheap! Other than that, we have virtually no development facilities here, excepting Walmart, and I don't think they handle real B&W film, do they? Even if they did... I don't think I'd like the results...)
I also thought it might be fun to have a roll where I provide a "frame" and you provide the subject, and another in the opposite fashion..
