Well, Arie, Eric and myself are going to meet together this Sunday and so far we don't have a definitive location but Venice Beach seems the most likely candidate so far. We will probably meet in the morning around 10 and just wander whereever our eyes and lenses take us. Who else wants to join us?
Good, I couldn't find this post! :) I think 10 am sounds good. What do you think about meeting at the big V (behind muscle beach and the graffiti wall? PM me with with your cell. I'll do the same so we can get in touch.

This address is for the Venice Beach Hostel and the boardwalk begins here. You can see the big V very clearly from this location. There is only metered marking there but you can try to find parking in the vicinity.

It will take me about 45 minutes to get there from Bubank.
I don't see why we can't spend the afternoon there and wait for you! Greg, do you want to still meet at 10am or is 11am or 12pm better for you? You name it, I'll be there.
BTW, I am working on a fairly generic unpaid model relese form and, if you would like, I can make it personalized for each individual photographer. The sample form has a space for the photographer's address and I am printing mine with my address already in there. If you want me to do the same, PM me your info and I can print them up for Sunday. Otherwise I can leave the space blank so anyone can use it.
OK, I hate being wishy-washy so I'll set a time: 11:00am at the the big V. Have you guys decided about the model release forms? If I don't hear from you and Eric by, say, 5pm today I'll just print them blank and you can fill in the info.

I got both PMs, thanks! I'll print out about 30 each so the person we photograph can keep a copy as well. I didn't mean to sound too mean in the earlier post but I hate being wishy washy (by myself) so I decided to take some action and set a time. :)
I haven't been very active here at DPC since I registered. I would love to go with you all but unfortunately tomorrow is booked. However, if you all hook up again in the future and you don't mind, I would love to join you all!

I had a blast today snapping lots of pics (about 136 total). Got a bit sunburned but it was still a lot of fun. I'll have my photos posted online in a day or so.
Eric has an idea for the next location and it's in Santa Clarita somewhere and I can't remember the name. Again, anyone is welcome to join us if you're in LA or even just visiting. We'd love to get more people to join us!
Today was awesome. I got so many shots, and it was really fun hanging out with you two! I really would love if some other LA DPCers would meet up with us too! It's great to have photo friends to go shooting with :)
I am really really sunburnt. I forgot my sunblock (very sad since I am very sensative). I hope I heal quick.
Eric, what was that name of that area in Santa Clarita that you wanted to go to next time? What do you think about July 11th or July 18th? Both Sundays I am free...
Wow, you really captured the feel of Venice really well! I am very impressed. I love the humanity you were able to grasp. The photo of the crazy devil guy (the one with the shark kite) is a great shot! I wish you entered that for extraordinary!!! Oh well. You did good. I look forward to your Vasquez Rocks pix.
Thanks Arie! I was going to add a quote/title to that guy's photo and I will in the future because he looks funny with the kite sticking out of his head. :)
