They also seem a little soft, but I have a suspicion that that was created inadvertently during post processing.

First thank you to all who took the time to comment. This was a learning exercise and you have all brought up some excellent points, some I knew about some I completely missed. As far as her eyes being soft, yeah that was a rookie technical error on my part. I sacraficed shutter speed to keep aperture and iso where I wanted it but I went to low with the shutter. If I were to do this again with everything the same I would have bumped the iso up a stop or 2 to increase the shutter speed to help with the sharpness. That or at least use a tripod.
