Hi Roger, Here is my 2 cents -Your other shots have appeal, They are interesting, artsy, and they make your mind wander around them for a moment. A picture of somebody else’s kid (any kid) or a baby ….They are so ordinary. If it’s my own child, It does hold my interest longer. But to the masses……It’s just another picture of a kid. Good color, great focus – By the way, You did quite well in that particular challenge. You were surrounded by some phenomenal photography. Even though the photos are supposed to be judged on their own merit, quite a few voters do compare them to the other photos in the challenge.
