How many are "keepers"?

Canon EF 100-400mm f/4.5-5.6 L IS

Takes a while to edit that many to find out :) I was covering a race, so probably about 200-300 will be keepers, for about 100 participants.

What kind of race?

There are lots of different types. : )

I took 280 at the Rock 'n Roll marahthon a couple of Sunday's ago and only threw out 4 or 5. It is amazing how many good shots you get with these digital cameras.

25km Cross country trail run, so fairly dynamic lighting and I was running a fair chunk of the course too :)
