The Blue Angels were at the local airport last week for the memorial day air show. I went to the airport and shot these through the chain link fence (with the end of my 70-300 pushed right up against the metal fence!)
Yup, bear is right... I shot them through the fence in the home depot parking lot. Some people bring ladders so they can shoot over the top of the fence. The fence is only about seven feet high there.
Sweet Shot!!!! I used to live in PCOla and they practiced over my house every morning at the crack of dawn... Id run out in my jammies and watch... they had a big show and you could get about a 100 feet from one and the cameras were going CRAZY!! it was awesome... my fuji took some pretty cool shots... but this is magnificent!
