Nah....I need someone to whip my lazy ass. I made a stupid mistake. I can't find the original for my Other Art Forms entry because I was lazy. I usually always first put all my images onto my external hard-drive...then work from there. My external hard-drive is full, so I just left them on the card. I did save the edited ones (which was just four) but I left the originals on the SD card....thinking that "I need to transfer those over to my new hard-drive that is sitting on the table 30 feet away"....well I never did.....days later I forgot that I had not transferred the images and deleted them and shot just a few images around the house. Sooooo... I used a recovery program to see if the images can be recovered. I have found only about half of them on the recovery software. I can't seem to find the one's that I took near the end of the session, probably written over by the few images I shot around the house. The recovery software did find about 1170 files, but not the ONE I am looking for.
LESSON LEARNED:
Get myself up off my lazy ass, and walk across the room to retrieve the new hard-drive, then walk the 30 feet back to your computer, unwrap the hard-drive, plug it in, sit down (on my lazy ass), copy and paste the images onto the hard-drive, then edit them. Don't forget! Can Grog hit me over the head with his club?
Don't feel bad Jennifer. I just realized yesterday that for some time I have been downloading my NEF files from the camera using Lightroom and having them automatically converted to DNG files. I then reformat the cards in camera. So now I have no originals for those or at least I don't think they will accept DNG's as originals. Luckily I have not entered much lately.

Yes....the drive is hooked up. (shaking head at myself)
Although, what's worse is that it's not a challenge that I was in, so I can't move up a spot. Next time you should be more considerate and get dq'd from the correct challenge :P
Seems like you have the wrong tool there. The photo was already cropped...

And yeah technically it IS a riding crop I am wielding. I could substitute a lunge whip, I suppose, but wouldn't look half as intimidating. Or painful. :-)
