I get the Rebel XT an 18 - 55mm lens a 75-300mm lens several filters ( UV, Polarized, etc.) Card Reader, 2 batteries, a 4gb mem card, a 512 gb mem card, bag, strap, charger, cleaner, and a muslim 5 X 7 pop up backdrop so I have ALL kinds of new toys! and one heck of a deal!! But I have a couple of questions....
Ok question number 1: There is some dust on the inside part -- how do I clean that?? Its coming up in all of the images.. its not on the lens... its on the inside lil square thing lol
Question 2: I am attaching a thumb nail... can anyone tell me what this is??

You probably need your sensor cleaned - not something I would do (but I'm a scaredy cat) and lots of people do their own.
The other is an expo disc - it helps with white balance.
Check out this link and enter your make and model and you can view a tutorial on using the expodisc with your specific camera. Good luck! Have fun with your new toys!!
Ok so I didnt have one of those cool lil things... but I didnt want to wait for one to come either... so I ran to the store and bought one of those blue ear nose things... those suctions things... worked great! clear as day now!

The only difference between those little suction devices for dealing with baby snot and the more costly Giotto made, photography purposed blowers, is the size of the bulb and the plastic they are made from. My cheap old blower broke down over the years as the flexible plastic degraded and began to spit little balls of sticky plastic onto my sensor. Not a happy result. Your little blue snot sucker ought to work fine, for a few years at least, but watch for the day when the solution starts adding to the problem.

Well, that and the Giotto looks really cool like a 50's rocketship. I have to hide it from the little ones or they want to play with it.
Maybe. Put cam into manual focus, take a pic of a white wall and transfer to PC. In Photoshop click on Auto levels (or auto color, forget which) and you'll see the dust bunnies come to life. It's probably not a big deal if you don't see them in your pictures but they can really stick out in solid areas, such as the sky.

Oh, not knocking ya at all. I am always looking for funds to buy more toys, lol. I can't even shoot well w/ my camera, but I'd like to get a better one! :P It makes learning and experimenting that much more fun with more toys! You can "play" more@! ;)
My advise if it is a used camera is spend the bucks and have it proffessionally cleaned. I had a sony DSLR cleaned and checked for around $100NZD. same day service as well.
