**** ipod touch to iphone transfer?

ok so the hard drive in my laptop freaked out and dies a while bak.. what ever Im used ti it lately, but I had/have an ipod Touch with my music on it, but for what ever reaon the POS will only transfer the 'purchased' songs from the touch to the puter, now that I have an iphone the touch is rendered useless and now I cant get the fricken songs and stuff off of it so I can transfer it to my iphone... any apple gurus out there have have some preferably cheep or free solutions to this problem?

The reason would be licensing restrictions imposed by the music industry (the computer is supposed to keep track of how many "legal" copies you're allowed to have). You could try something like this to copy files off your iPod, then back onto the iPhone.
