Hi guys!

Just a doubt... Is possible that a selective desaturation will be in sepia and something in colour? Or it has to be in B&W and something in colour?

My question is this:

What about having a picture where most of the picture is in colour while the primary subject is in grayscale? Emphasis can also be done that way. Would that also meet challenge requirements?

I think that everyone has their own view on what it is. I for one am going to use pretty much the stereotypical selective desat shot but heres an example of what you are asking.

I thought of doing it as stated in your first question, however, the description of the challenge says otherwise.

"Highlight one or more elements in your photograph by converting the surrounding areas to grayscale"
