Yeah, I know, I purchased it anyway and it works well. The cap is a bit tight. I think it has a focal length of about 50mm and about f/180. Any EOS body cap will work on your 5DII.

I'll join this side challenge but I won't be posting every day what with the DPL and all. I like using my bodycap/pinhole out in the field, I like to tell people I'm practising taking photos without a lens before I start seriously shooting images. They just smile politely and walk away.
I'll be using my self made pinhole from a body cap. Also, all my shots will be in B&W.
For those who may be new to this.
The hole you make in your body cap is not the hole you use to capture the image. What you need is a piece of aluminum from a pie pan or where ever you can get some thick aluminum, not foil. You need to make a very small hole in this aluminum with a needle and tape/glue it to the body cap by making sure it's centred properly so your images are centred on the sensor. Make the hole very small and try it out. If you're not getting enough light in there then enlarge your hole but very minutely. Try to keep the hole as round as possible as this makes for an even spread of the light onto your sensor. You really don't need a large hole to get the sensor to pick up light. Remember, you have no aperture to play with and the only way to control the light is to control the shutter speed.

Totally different flavor. It took several attempts get my self made usable.
This was one of my first images with the DIY bodycap. The "hemi"vignette got old quickly
So, I widened the whole, the vignette below was added in post. The nice thing about 5DII is the H2 ISO setting (25600), crazy noise/texture.
First adventure with pre-fab body cap, almost too sharp.
The first one is easy to build, but requires chemicals and a darkroom. Don't let that put you off though; the chemicals are easy to get and easy to work with, and a dark bathroom will work fine.
The second one is a little harder to build, but since you're using 35mm film, a trip to the drugstore is all that's needed to get your images.
Don't know how often I will contribute, but I'm in... just ordered some 0.3mm carbide drill bits so I can make a clean hole. Got some very thin shim stock laying around so it looks like I'm set to go. I'll use the Canon body cap and mount my pinhole in that.

There aren't really any rules unless the OP has something specific in mind he wants us to stick to. In this case the topic is pinhole imagery so the only rule would be to use a pinhole camera as in a modified body cap or a box such as an oatmeal box. Remove oatmeal! ;)
As for images the OP has said it wasn't necessary to post one every day so you don't have to unless you want to. You can use any rules to edit your shot if need be. Sticking to how we process our images in challenges is the norm unless, again, the OP has other things in mind like textures or compositing.
These side challenges are meant to be stress free and fun since we're participating in something we all have a particular interest in. No deadlines, no challenge descriptions to deal with, just plain creativity and imagination. ;D
Oh I forgot one thing, commenting. Try to comment on the images as this helps the photographer hone his skills and it lets you discover new techniques to use in your images. It's a learning process for all.
I really like how all the film was used here. It's rare I see this done this way. Have you tried a larger film format? I want to try this out someday, after I've moved and settled in though, not during this side challenge.

Thanks Jac. At the link I posted, there are also directions for building a medium format camera (120 film -- think Holga), but I haven't gotten around to that yet. So many projects, so little time...
