This is my free study entry, straight from the camera:
Just wondered if anyone preferred this over the entered version (which only had one adjustment applied to it, other than resizing/ sharpening)

i pref'd the one you entered.
it seemed more creative/less run of the mill and i enjoyed the colors.

Nope liked the entered version much better...
Only aspect I like better is background is cleaner on original...

i think i prefer this one better. I think the effects applied to the entry made it look a little tacky, whereas this one looks very professional.

I think the brilliant colors in your entry fit better with the somewhat abstract subject/composition. Btw, I really liked it. That said...you're braver than I to have submitted something so extreme to dpc :P

I think I like the entered version better, but I'm wondering how it would look with the star's colors shifted and the background kept dark.
