Why do you presume the votes were due to the finger? when another image of exactly the same message and idea doesn't receive any way near the amount of 1's 2's & 3's surely you should start looking at the photo as a downfall rather than it's message.

Look at my finger here... It may not be the most beautiful and nicest thing, but it is a pretty widespread means of communication. So where do 64 1s, 2s and 3s come from? c'mon people, this is not a purity contest, this is a freaking photo contest.
I only got one comment about imperfect position of the hand, with which i mostly agree, but not to the point of 1.
But all the hypocritical purists need not worry, my trial membership expires in 7 days, and i don't think i am going to renew it.
