I'm probably in for this as well, though I may join the party later on in the game. Depending on the weekend, I may have a late night or two at Main State (right off the mall), so I could make it over after I'm done working. Close as it is to the Kennedy Center, I wonder if there's any photos that can be shot over there... I think KC has some neat lighting at night, but I wouldn't swear to it.

Twilight to midnight. That way we can all get home via metro if needed. :) 15th or 16th would work. We have Jefferson Memorial, Lincoln, FDR, Koran, and part of Vietnam. I don't want to deal with the hassle of trying to shoot near the Capitol near the election. :P
Okay- as of now it's looking like the 16th will work best. All this is conditional on my new store looking good. Cause I can't justify being out all weekend if it doesn't. ;)
Can I get a list of those who could come that night? Again, this one is not going to be overnight- prolly till 1am at the latest.
I've kept that weekend open, but I'm not a guarantee. I'll want to check the weather before I drive the 6 hours - good weather will make me a definite, though!

Okay. Pending weather the DC Fall Nights shoot will have the following schedule.
Meet up at Union Station at 3:30 pm.
Group dinner/food at 4 at America.
Walk down to Jefferson/Lincoln for sunset around 5pm. Actual sunset location to be determined by the group and weather.
World War 2 Memorial.
Vietnam Memorial- whichever open panel (I think East)
Korea for those who want to try out that memorial
FDR on the way back from Jefferson.
Finishing up around 1:30-2 which gets us all back to the metro.
I will be at work that Saturday, so people are free to meet me at Friendship Heights if they need photographic supplies. ;)
Now that we're closer to the event, I'm probably not going to make it. I'll keep an eye on this thread & maybe I'll be able to join you, but it's unlikely.
