I guess I should vote more, I just find myself not wanting to spend the time doing it because I won't be able to vote and comment on as many as I want to...*sighs* and with this new laptop I'm horribly afraid of voting down an image wrongly because I can't figure out how to calibrate the screen! My own "Fairy Tales" submission looks pretty horrible on this screen, but great on any other I've seen! (Edit: and it's sitting at a 6.3097 with 113 votes, so I'm assuming that it looks at least fairly good on the majority of other screens out there.)
but i've only entered one challenge. plus, the first couple challenges i voted in, i only gave higher scores because i didn't have a feel for the system, and i didn't really know what i was looking for. i started spreading my votes out a little more now though.
Maybe I'm slow, but I just recently realized that the average vote on a scale of 1-10 is actually 5.5 and not 5.0 since it's not possible to cast a vote of 0. Looks like I'm pretty darn average. :-)

I'm at 77% helpful comments right now, but then again.. I've just started, as you can see. I wonder if I can keep a ratio like this up over 1600 comments like yourself :)
It is interesting to note that my percetage of comments marked as helpful dropped considerably after I commented on every entry of a challenge, it use to be closer to 80%
Vote too high, get voted to low :) But that's because my scores on first challenges that really taught me alot. Just on the edge of being above comments recieved.

I made mose of my comments before the ability to mark comments as helpful existed. Many of the remainder were Critique Club comments, which tend to not get marked.
