Have any of you noticed a drop in comments these last couple of challenges? I normally receive the majority comments during the first day of voting, not lately, maybe its just me!
Yes actualy I whas about to open the same topic. Huge drop in my comments that's for sure. Scores are not so bad but verry few comments. Well I guess it's summer many people are on vacations, I think in summer people tend to be more outgoing anyways in winter they stay more inside and on the internet. I got only 8 comments in my freedom with a not so bad 5.9 score, also now for the DPC album, recived my first comment 2 minutes ago.
i think that's generally the pattern anyway - i've found that if mines a middling mid-5 score, then generally there is a lack of comments (apart from those from freaks who actually gave said shot an abnormally high score ;)) though, my current choccie one has bucked the trend a little - 5.3 but 15 comments, which for me is a bit high! very excellent and very poor shots i think normally garners the most comments, probably because there is more that can be said for them.
I've actually had far more comments the last couple challenges. However, I managed to get my entries out of the dreaded comment-barren 5-zone and score respectably so that helped. I probably got half the comments in the first 24 hours and then the rest trickled in one by one.
Summer, vacations, LIFE! I've been so busy lately getting ready for the fair and vacation and still doing my business and the stables and life in general I hardly get time to play anymore! ;(

Lets try to inspire every voter to do the same! Although, I do not know if I could handle reading 300 comments, it would be great thought! Unless they would all be negative, that would just not be acceptable.lol.
