The reason I ask is that there is an upcoming meeting (19th September) of the the Central Southern Digital Imaging Group. This meeting should have an appeal for those that can get there because we have booked Wacom and Adobe as guests for a full day meeting (10am to 3pm)
Central Southern DIG is a regional group of the Royal Photographic Society. The RPS is a non profit organisation so I hope it is OK to post this info.
It holds monthly meetings during the year and aims to have guest speakers at most meetings. When no speaker is booked the meetings are configured around self-help workshops for experience sharing etc.
The reason I am posting is twofold.
Firstly to let folk know about who we have arranged to speak/demonstrate their products.
Secondly to say that the group has to be self sufficient i.e. that it relies on its members to survive and grow and maintain its growth/development. As such we like to attract new members to the group.
All attendees of the meetings pay a modest fee whether they are members of the RPS or not - details below.
Obviously we want to encourage folk to attend and become actively involved so there is a 20% discount of the single meeting charges as an introductory offer on the first visit.
