At least your eye can wander from the update button over to that shiny new ribbon. You and Librodo are strongest with portraiture, Dsidwell is great with landscapes, Konador and EddyG are concept photographers, and Jacko favors... well, leeeettle tiny portraits. Don't get discouraged when you venture into alien turf. After all, many of your portfolio shots depict uh.. the opposite of freedom. ;-)
Not great. I'm at about 4.7 which is actually about what I'd vote it myself though, so I can't say I'm disappointed. It's definitely not my best photo.
I spent $10 setting up the shot, first time I ever spent money for a photo challenge, so when it turned out more difficult than I thought it would be and I didn't get the results I envisioned, I was pretty disappointed. I still liked the concept though so I just went ahead and submitted. But then I didn't realize until the last minute that it was an advanced editing challenge, so there is a major improvement I could have made, but by then it was too late. So anyway, it's not my best effort and I'm not particularly proud. But heck, I'm still a beginner here and it will be nice to look back at it someday and see how much better I've gotten, right? ;)

Well, I am doing bad by most people's USUAL standards, but for the Freedom challenge -- one of my best scores. 5.50. So I am happy that I am at least not on the bottom, but don't have to fell guilty about saying I am higher -- because it's not that high, and it is some of the best photogrpahers on the site just having a low challenge. But, as I said, it is nice not to be on the bottom!
Seems this challenge is low on comments, but what's up with the huge difference between views and votes? I never watch a picture and not vote, even if I have to give it a 1. I wonder if people who whant's to give me 10 hit the ">>" link by mistake. Can we move that a bit further, or somewhere else? :))

I tend to vote in chunks, 10-15 photos at a time. Everytime I enter a vote though it automatically pulls up a new photo and I leave without placing a vote on that last photo, though I'm sure it's recorded as a view even though I'm not actually looking at it. I'm guessing there's a lot of people who do the same thing. Only if I voted for all the photos in one sitting would the views equal the number of votes I cast.
