over 300 enterys and only 200 votes... people want to enter a challenge but dont want to vote on them? or just no time?
You're lucky, I haven't even broken the 200 vote mark yet. But then again, I'm not that happy with my shot after all, so I can understand people not wanting to vote on it I guess. I will say this though, I vote on every picture in every challenge where I enter a shot. I think it's only fair. Commenting, well that's another story, but I do comment on at least a few if not more. I really need to work on that... :)

Your score doesn't change very much after 100 votes and hardly budges after 200. I think the voters time would be better spent only voting on 100 entries and commenting on more. More entries = less comments if everyone tries to vote on them all. And yes, please remember those of us on dial up.

I disagree. It may not be big jumps, but just a couple votes can throw a score up a tenth of a point or more (depending of course). One or two more votes of a 6 or above will drive my "June Free Study" from a 5.8x to a 5.9x.

Agreed!! (not about the rant part, but the comment part) :) I have 2 and I think one is kinda of a joke anyways (at least I hope it is) :P So I've gone back and made a last ditch effort to increase my comment count. Hope it helped some folks that really needed/wanted them. :-)
