Had other stuff going on.
For a while, I was doing mostly film, then that was derailed when I got laid off in the aftermath of the 2014 oil crash and got a new job that demanded some insane hours AND had a nearly 3h round trip commute. Sucked, but Spork and fam need to eat. I have a different job now, but sold the DSLR's on eBay since they were just sitting there unused and going obsolete. I still have some EF lenses and a few speedlights Gone are my studio strobes, BG stands and so on... Most of my photos these days are just phone snaps of projects, garden stuff or food I've made, nothing too creative from a photographic POV. Don't even have a license/subscription for PS and LR anymore.

Heck, I do practically all my own photography with the Samsung Galaxy S21 phone these days. Plus of course I'm droning now, which suits my relatively limited mobility... Hop on in again with some off-the-wall stuff! (And I'm still winning)
