Didn't seem to be any active threads dedicated to street photography at present, so for anyone who's interested here's a few of mine from a last week's trip away to kick things off. Critiques welcomed.
Thanks for the link Sarah. Unfortunately there's not been any activity there in over a month. And bugger all in the year prior to that.
So is there no longer any interest here in street photography? Or is it just part and parcel of a general lack of activity as a whole. Since returning to DPC recently I have to say it certainly isn't the place it once was. There seems to be a distinct air of slow, painful death about the place. Really quite sad.
From listening to the jeremiads of some old-timers I sense that this place was once an electric hive of lively participation and unbounded joie de vivre. From my disadvantaged perch as a veritable new-comer I'm quite happy to have discovered a land of enthusiastic, intelligent, talented and generally warmhearted people whose love of photography has been a joy and inspiration. Long may it wave.

Yes, it's a shame the activity has dropped off in that thread. I used to enjoy it. Nothing stopping us bumping it up with some new posts. I'm sure I've got a lot I could share there if only I got round to doing it. I miss some of the participants, Nixter Pawdrix etc.
