Mine is because of this awesome guy I know. His name's Ryan. He's easily the most handsome, reliable, ruggedly manly, inspirational photographer I can think of.
Also, he's President of the Universe; but a famous shrink has been quoted as saying "Ee's jus zis guy, ya know?"

My screen name is actually the name I used for my Iksar Monk character in Everquest. I got the name because I had just read a book about the life of Stalin and his nickname in the communist party was Koba, Koba was a fictional character that was sort of like Robin Hood. The game would not let me use that name (must have been used already) so I came up with Kobba. If you have seen the recent planet of the apes movie you should remember the ape named Koba.

I was born and raised in the province of Newfoundland, also well known by the nickname The Rock. The people are well known to have a unique dialect as well, so you are apt to hear da for the quite a bit.
blech -- don't remind me how stupid mine is. When we moved from Minnesota to Virginia 14 years ago, I had to come up with a new email. I thought it was fun to put vawendy for Virginia Wendy for email.
When I signed up on DPC, I didn't realize that it would show up all over the place. I thought it was just a login that you never really saw again.
And now I'm stuck with it, because I could never think of anything amusing/fun/etc.
However, one person did say they thought the va was for vavavavooommm! I like that. :)
