I have been meaning to enter this. I typically need a deadline looming. When is the deadline to enter HATS?
Public voting starts end of this (Jan 2014) month... February all month (I could drop that to two weeks now, since I do have many people helping me out for the giveaways) there will be a public voting, then 5 selected jury members will award top 5. All 5 winners will get something in the mail, no electronic ribbons... because there is no membership, there are no members page.
All photos, from all time are ok as long as you have the originals with you!

Only the best of the best can win contests there, dual level voting and only single editing rule applied for all contests with a little twist. It will be tough to win, but fun to enter. The awards come through sponsors, no fees to become a member and there won't be any fees in the future.
First contest subject is "HATS". Checkout the rules for this contest at DPChat.net Contests website. You have one month to enter. No starting time restriction for your photos, all you have to have is the original file, straight out of your camera if asked. Why no time restriction? 1-If you have any photos that you took, but somehow missed deadline, or just sitting there you wish you could enter to a contest or something... here is a good chance to do that! 2-DPChat.net Contests website will carry only the winners in its showcase, others will be deleted. So, winners must be the best of the best. .
Join when you get a chance, tell your friends and families about it, and enter your photo. To those already registered, just to let you know you don't have to wait for the deadline. There is no restriction when the photo was taken, could be 10 years ago, or a month ago, as long as you have the original. Subject is "HATS" to honor "Hat awards"...

My final decision on the contest website stands for 4 times a year turnaround and additional stuff for prizes, such as Mastering Model Shoot by Frank Doorhof!
First contest HATS will be awarded with,

2nd place : 1 Year Free DPChallenge membership, framed certification and a 15 oz. "True Awards" coffee mug 3rd place : "DPChat.net" 11 oz. coffee mug and framed certification
