What do you guys think about Sunday May 20th or Sunday May 27th?

I'm not available on Sunday May 20th, but Robert may be. I think we should both be available on May 27th. We'd would hope to coordinate this with a visit with friends who live in Mystic either the day before or the day after so I'll see if they will be around that weekend (which is Memorial day weekend, I see).
We're going to wind up with a very nice GTG on a day that Dirt_Diver can't make it.
LOL I will be leaving shortly after the 10th, I might be up there on the 17th but I don't think I will.
Maybe we could just do 2 gtg's or not even call them a gtg... Just some DPC friends hanging out when we can...
I will know more once I get up there but for the most part I will be working... I would like to get some good pictures of something out of my normal but we'll see.

I think your last suggestion is the best I am going to be able to do. I will be traveling a great deal during the weekends from Mid May to Mid June, so a weekend GTG is going to be out for me unfortunately. But getting together for a few shots and some beers sounds like a great plan....

It can be I guess. Someone should put something together so we can all try and make it. If we have to have 2 GTG's I'm game...

Well, May 27th isn't an option for us any more :-(. Sorry not to mention this earlier, I missed the May 10th post to this thread and didn't realize May 27th was still being considered.
Isn't it Mystic that has a truly fantastic Fish & Chips stand.

I think Ray is talking about Sea Swirl in Mystic. It has decent fish and chips along with ice cream and the typical drive up clam shack fare. It was featured on a couple of shows on the Food Network a few years ago (I know Rachel Ray did a piece on her 40$ a day show). It is a good place and worth a stop if in the area, just so you can get out of the car, sit at a picnic table and enjoy the 'road food' fare.
I like Costello's in Noank and Captain Scott's in New London better for the fried stuff - but you need to know how to get there. And you can drive right past Mystic Pizza...not really that great IMO.

Is the date May 27th? If so, I MAY be able to join (would like to). It would probably be later in the afternoon and probably for just a quick meet and greet. We have our town's Memorial Day parade on the 27th and my 6 year old is marching with the Taekwon Do group.
If anything, Peter, perhaps I can grab your cell and find out where you are all at.
