not sure why I bothered really, it never really stood a chance.
It's a beautiful photo. You never know with that crew over there. I figured out that blurry photos usually stand no chance there. Check out this guy though, it seems like he's broken the 1x code - Codrin Lupei
I haven't tried anything in a few years, so I thought I'd give it a go again.
Pretty quickly rejected this (but i don't know how quick because I submitted late last week and then didn't check, and apparently they don't send a message):

beautiful face/woman difficulties with background
truly lovely
Here's my portfolio there...not many, but I was running a "pretty good ratio" because I hadn't tried many. Just seemed a lot of effort wasted.
Too late. Rejected before I could pull it. It was a slightly differently processed version of this one - the preferred crop and processing is shown in the comments. Pretty quick on the reject, too, I might add! Still, one of my favorite shots of late. The cropped version especially. Pretty sure it wouldn't have made any difference, but am pleased that I did try a few different things with the shot based on some early feedback I received.
They know nothing.( well until they accept one of mine that is )
I strongly disagree... I was accepted twice, and I still think that place is a joke.
... ok, with respect to ursula, because I know I will be attack for that once again.
There is NO reason for DPC not to become as "popular"!!! as that place, if Langdon releases a DPC book, and make front images little larger... and maybe start twice a year juried challenges...
...but right now it's less possibility because of the new baby girl :)
