But I expected this type of voting. People's definition of candid seems to vary widely. There already was a comment that someone didn't think that many of the photos fit the "candid" definition. I disagree. There are a couple that don't meet my definition. But not many at all. I thought it was a nice group of photos.

Mine is without a doubt candid, I just didn't expect so many high votes overnight followed by low this morning. Another pair of fours and a five have me down to 4.71. My first 19 votes averaged 6.26, the last 16 averaged 4.26. Crazy.
Sorry If i gave your photo the "this just does'nt do anything for me", or "this is a boring photo" comment. I know I'm one to give positive comments but I seem to want to give my 2 cents worth this time, just take it as slight correction to take a more inspiring photo next time.
I feel if your going to take a 'candid' at least make it interesting and captivating, just taking a photo of someone whom I can't feel any emotion for just does'nt do it for me ! I need to feel something when I see a photo otherwise its just another photo headed for the scrap heap.

I'm in the club 5.2 I forgot the dpc rule sharpen sharpen sharpen sharpen sharpen and once more for good measure sharpen haha any creative photography outside of the ultra neat defined look gets hammered or maybe just this mornings votes? Was at 5.8 last night when I went to bed, 3 really positive comments......
