Awesome Kestrel picture! I have a few Kestrels here at work, but can't get very close to them. I'll probably do a roadtrip to the Carolina Raptor Center after I get my Rebel and learn how to use it.

It feels great, smells good, sags my tripod head and has me carry its owner's manual around everywhere and all day long. I've never missed so many shots before! ;-)
I have one lens, a relatively inexpensive Tamron AF 70-300 f/4 tele-macro to do my learning with. I'll have to steal the lenses I really want. ;-)

I'd have no problem with a five finger lens.
