It seems like the Tuesday open challenge has become the scavenger hunt challenge. After "Pareidolia" comes "coin slot", another challenge where you will spend more time hunting down a rare item that you will shooting it. I can see one of these sorts of things every so often, but why the open challenges, and why two weeks in a row? Next week, can we give the non-members a common item or a technique challenge, so they we can get images that are more "look what I did" instead of "look what I found".

Well, you can make it black & white, blurry, out of focus, unrecognizable and call it "sublime" and then give it a PH Blue.
Next week, can we give the non-members a common item or a technique challenge, so they we can get images that are more "look what I did" instead of "look what I found".

Does no one have a piggy bank anymore??? The slot that you put coins into is a coin slot. Any vending machine I have ever seen including food, canned drinks, parking lot voucher, bus fare, subway token, etc. has a spot to insert coins (otherwise known as a coin slot). I can't believe that you would think it is something that is difficult to find. :)
