so, what's the consensus... how much of the surroundings should be included in the photo? i was thinking to crop it pretty tight to the "face", but don't know how much of the natural context people will want to see... the trolls in the water was excellent and the water really made the image, but would that be true of, say, a face in tree bark?
Unless we stumble upon a real find we might end up with abstract or plain, uninteresting shots. Hope to be proved wrong.
I thought I got "a real Picasso" last winter but it was not loved:
it's funny... several people including me saw with "other one" in the upper right corner, too. (the one that looks like a classic alien face)
Interesting. What I had seen was one of the rocks looked kind of like the Golem from LOTR peeking up over the other rocks. In your enlarged version, I now see that as the rock that it is, but I now see a green alien in the shrubbery that looks like a cross between Jar-Jar Binks, the Geico Gecko and a Praying Mantis. The Golem I saw is just below and to the left of the green alien thing.
What should be fun about this challenge is what different people will see in the shapes. I'm going to try to figure out for myself what they look like to me before I look at the titles.
