I can't help wondering... if up to 10-12 ones have been stripped from a number of entries in this massive re-calculation, there must be more that three disqualified people implicated in improper voting, right? or there were some fake accounts that were simply closed?

Well, with the recalc, I my entry has been "promoted" from second-last to last place. I was pretty disappointed with how well I did originally. After all of the excitement though, I have to admit that I would have scored my photo right around what my average score was. So I think my score and therefore placement are totally fair. I'm just disappointed that I didn't get more comments -- especially with my awesome title and supporting description. I figured at least one person would have at least been confused as to what I was talking about.
Anyhow, I heard there's some kind of medal for last place? How does that work? Is that good :)?

Don't let fotomann_forever pull your leg too much. It is more commonly known as a "brown ribbon".

Ummm. Lowest score of non-DQ'd entry. No official designation. There's also next to last, and 3rd from last (in progressively lighter shades of brown). Actually 4.1 is a fairly high score for a brown.
