Oooh I have that umbrella... but I think the rest doesn't suit me! "Does this dress make me look bloated?" :P (the shoes are bitchen, but impossible to walk in... for real ppl!)
This would be a REALLY good opportunity to rent a 7D or 5D Mark II (or an excuse to upgrade).
Good point Scalvert. I'm always looking for excuses to upgrade and this is a great one! In fact; I feel I'm now forced to upgrade some of my studio lights... just in case Cindi needs assistance. Not likely; but who knows?? Better be safe than sorry. :D

Now that you mention it, what if Cindi asks TrollMan to assist, but he can't get a flight. Bad juju - that's what. I'm off to look into upgrading to a 7D..... And if everyone else know what's good for them, they'll start shopping as well. Do it for the team.
I actually am looking into upgrading one of my cameras.... at very least I'm going to borrow one for the trip, but if I can manage I'll go ahead and buy a new one before I go.

Hey guys! Robert, thanks for asking. The shoot was fantastic. I met sooooo many people and passed out a ton of business cards, roughly 200 at last count. I just got back on Thursday last week, but spent the following 3 days processing the 4300ish shots from the week. I've been hired as the designer's personal photographer now and asked to attend the next show - during fashion week in September. There are also whispers of a trip to Paris in the winter, but I'm not going to get my hopes up until I see the plane tickets. :)
Overall, it was a wonderful experience and hopefully a gateway to many more opportunities. As they say... things are looking up!
PS, we are in print negotiations with 5 different magazines. :)
