Would be nice if one of the 4 voters would leave some explanation, 'cuz I just can't see how this is lacking so badly. (Not that I really expect someone to pause so do so.)
Less than stellar, but after getting hammered in the Fine Arts challenge which I half expected I guess I can't complain about anything close to mid 5's. I'll take what I can get right now.
Well, I'm actually quite happy with this as, in my 4th challenge, I've finally hit 5! (goes to show how uninspiring my photo's are). I'm a 'point & shooter' with no PP software and skill and so will never really do that well in challenges. But I do enjoy keeping an eye out for something that will meet a current challenge while out and about, which makes this site exciting for me (other than seeing some awsome and inspiring photos). I really appreciate the comments - one from someone who liked my photo and another who explained why they didn't, which is always very helpful. Good luck everyone and don't stress about the scores (which I know is impossible) ;-)
Dang, you guys are killing me. I thought this would do much better (although when I looked at my image on a calibrated monitor, I almost died--I always swear I'll never edit on a laptop an hour before the challenge is due, but...).
Up slightly and another positive comment. Is it just me or is the voting in this challenge slooowwwww. I usually get a 100 votes within 18 hours or so. 38 is extremely low at this point IMO.
It's very slow -- but it's not a particularly interesting challenge to view, so people aren't as interested and aren't voting as quickly.
Regarding other things in the photo with a branch: It says to take a photo "relating" to a branch. That doesn't mean that the branch has to be the one and only subject. If there's a relation between the subjects, that works for me.

Trust me, you will not get the brown. I missed it by <---> that much in the F.Arts challenge but I think I have it sewed up for this one. I guess my shot is too subtle..........or just incredibly bad! ;-)

I know I have voted on less the 20% of this challenge and only commented on one so far. For me I spent so much time with the Fine Arts challenge that I am taking voting in this one slow. I will probably pick it up more tomorrow.
