I remember a thread that was looking for people to vote and comment on all the pictures. I made a promise to vote and comment on all the pictures along with other DPC'ers. So why are the comments so low? Who knows, maybe the comments recieved are from those who vowed to comment.

I doubt that numbers of comments actually are that low - just, obviously, that they're spread out among so many pictures. Just got my 12th, I think - which ain't bad going, but then i think it's one of my better shots ...
Richie I'm trying to comment on all photos as well; perhaps we can break the 10,000 comment limit this time :). It is hard work though.

I have voted on every single entry. However only comented on 5 %. However, before the end of the contest I will hope to have commented on at least 10 percent.
I'm not sure I can wait until the 24th to see the final results. This is my first challenge, and I did not realize how agonizing it is to see one's results trickling in over such a long period of time! The only thing that keeps me sane is I'm already thinking about what I want to enter in Conflict.

It's hard for me to comment on all of them. I have a dial-up connection home and takes ages! I'll try my best.

I have voted probably around 3-4 hrs a day, sometimes in between other stuff and phone calls (I have a home office.) I figured my average at just under 2 minutes per photo. Obviously that means some were less and some were more than that.
Now that I've voted on all and left comments, I'm going back to make sure the votes are where I want them. The next time we try to comment on them all, can we pick one with around 200 entries???? Probably won't be doing this again because it really, really eats up time, but it was fun and educational for me to do it this time.
And yes, I'll admit that I copied & pasted my most common comment (This was after doing probably close to half the entries.) But, I usuually pasted that comment and then added to it specifics for that shot.
My own shot has 17 comments and a score of 5.62 right now.
159 comments and a 408 of 409 vote on TexturesII is my present score. Congratulations to Jpochard to getting through the Whole Thing! I'm about commented out, but will get a second wind! (mine is still in the mid 4s with 5 comments - my other challenge entries are doing better)
Thanks to e301, Dave Gordon, and jpochard for sticking to their guns in regards to voting on every picture. I am almost done. Boy was that a lot. I agree with jpochard, next time let's do it on a 200 entry challenge!
